Indonesia Coffee & Spices Restructuring – ForesTrade
I-DEV was engaged by ForesTrade, a leading importer of sustainably sourced coffee and spices from Indonesia and Guatemala, and World Business Capital, ForesTrade’s lead investor, to analyze and redesign the company’s global supply chain. I-DEV spent a month on the ground with smallholder farmers from each of ForesTrade’s 13 supply chains to trace each product’s journey from field to export. The end result of I-DEV’s work was a streamlined,transparent and sustainable supply chain that provided increased income to farmers while also generating significant improvements in operating efficiency and profitability.
