Pima Cotton Feasibility Analysis- FairTrade USA
I-DEV was engaged by FairTrade USA and Indigenous Designs, a leading, sustainable U.S. clothing designer, to analyze and map the sustainable textile industry in Peru. This included a comprehensive sector analysis and strategic recommendations regarding opportunities to develop and streamline the FairTrade cotton industry in Peru. In addition, I-DEV also advised on methods to strengthening the Peruvian sustainable textile industry’s global competitiveness. The engagement included in-field analysis of cotton cooperatives and gins, and alpaca farmers and weavers.
