Our Team

Patricia is Co-Founder and Managing Director of I-DEV, bringing 15+ years of investment and strategy experience focused on strengthening and scaling high-impact companies. Patricia built and led I-DEV’s Insight & Strategy Group, and launched I-DEV’s expansion into Africa. She has advised companies from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Eileen Fisher, and Grupo Bimbo to leading local companies in Africa and Latin America on innovation, growth and capital raise. She has consulted the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank and the IDB Lab (their innovation group), UN Foundation, USAID’s Development Innovation Ventures, Conservation International, DFID and more on new blended finance models, capacity building support, investment strategy and tech-enabled solutions across agriculture, clean energy, big data, edtech, sustainable brands and climate sectors. Patricia has been an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) twice for Singularity University (Silicon Valley), as well as built and taught curriculum as a Lecturer for them and others including Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She also advises executives and startup management teams. Prior to I-DEV, Patricia worked in investment banking and strategy for the C-Suite of the global engineering/infrastructure and environmental consulting sector at the Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG), a boutique NY firm. She holds an MBA in Global Business and Social Innovation from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and B.A. from Barnard College, the Women’s College of Columbia University.

Jason is Co-Founder of I-DEV, and has 15+ years of experience advising large and small corporations on growth, management and financial strategy. He helped high-growth global tech/telcom companies raise over $50BN in capital as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup, led buyouts and acquisitions of manufacturing and operating companies at AlixPartners’ $1BN private equity fund, managed and led the growth of a $7M locally-owned agribusiness in Northern Peru during his service in the U.S. Peace Corps, and advised over 100 emerging markets SMEs on growth and capital strategy. Jason has a Juris Doctorate from NYU Law, focused on Rule of Law, and a B.S. in Business from University of Texas–Austin.

Ben is a member of I-DEV’s Board of Advisors and is the Managing Director of SUNU Capital, an early stage venture capital fund investing in companies that are focused on creating a more prosperous, inclusive, and self-sustaining future across the global south. SUNU has a diverse portfolio spanning logistics / distribution, healthcare, agriculture, and technology. Ben leads the firms strategy, board representation, and pipeline development. Previously, Ben was a Senior Director at Root Capital and in the past, Ben has worked as a senior supply chain consultant focused on business advisory services for multinational companies and SMEs in over 30 countries. Ben has spent many years adventuring the globe on all modes of transport. He is the owner of two coffee bars in Boston and advises startups on growth strategies, culture building, and how to fix the pipes when they burst. Ben holds a degree in environmental policy and political science from the University of Washington and speaks French, Spanish, and Wolof.

Rob brings over 20 years of investment and management experience in investment banking and private equity with a focus on public and private Capital Markets transactions, Real Estate, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Mid-Market Credit. Rob is Managing Partner at Archon Investments, and is based in New York City. Previously, Rob worked in Deutsche Bank’s DWS (formerly, Deutsche Asset Management) division where he focused on Private Equity and Alternative Investments. He began his career as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley before moving into buy-side analysis with Oxford, and eventually into acquisitions for Wells Real Estate Funds. Over the last 15 years, he has worked in a capital markets role directly or through joint ventures with some of the largest Private Equity firms and REITs in the industry, including Hines, Cole Capital, Apollo, and Ares Management. Rob has a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, a Masters from London Business School with a concentration in Private Equity, and an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Finance.
