Stephanie Lai is an Associate at I-DEV International based in New York and Peru. Prior to joining I-DEV, Stephanie was an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse in the Healthcare group. She worked on numerous financing and merger advisory transactions for large pharmaceutical and healthcare services clients.
Stephanie graduated cum laude from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where she earned her B.S. in finance and economics. She studied emerging markets investing and economic development, and has lived in Prague, Czech Republic and Beijing, China.
Stephanie is committed to the using market-based development to grow the base of the pyramid. In addition to working with I-DEV, she is involved in Young Professionals for Acumen Fund and Wokai, the China focused micro-finance organization.
