Eric Naranjo

Eric Naranjo is on the Board of Directors for I-DEV International.  He has a wealth of knowledge structuring financial transactions in the manufacturing, energy, and real estate sectors, and has deep experience in operations and development strategy in rural regions of Latin America.

Like every member of the I-DEV team, Eric has years of experience in both the international development and business sectors.  In addition to working with I-DEV, he also works with Reynolds Advisory Partners, an M&A investment bank where he specializes in middle market transactions valued between $15 & $220 million.  Previously Eric worked as an Associate at General Capital Partners, where he focused on special situation turnarounds and distressed M&A for the energy, manufacturing and real estate sectors.

Prior to working at GCP, he was with Capital International Management, analyzing investments in the food and entertainment sectors throughout the Middle East.  He also worked with AIC Ventures, a venture capital investment firm, where he conducted investment due diligence and research on industrial real estate valued between $4 million – $40 million for a $35o million investment portfolio.

Eric’s development experience prior to joining I-DEV includes independent consulting on agro-industrial development initiatives in Cajamarca, Peru, where he also served as Business and Economic Development Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps. While in Peru, he worked with a local development organization to design and coordinate the initial phases of a highly successful agricultural program that has since generated over $25 million dollars in income for local small farmers in the region.

Eric received his Masters in Global Finance from the University of Denver, and his Bachelors of Business Administration in Corporate Finance and Marketing from Eric received his Masters in Global Finance from the University of Denver, and his Bachelors of Business Administration in Corporate Finance and Marketing from St. Mary’s University.  He is fluent in Spanish, and holds a Series 7 license with FINRA.
