Adnan Chaudhry is currently with Salesforce.com. Headquartered in San Francisco, CA, Salesforce.com is part of the S&P 500, and the worldwide leader in on-demand customer relationship management services.
Previously, Adnan served as Vice President and Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning for Swift & Company, the world’s second-largest processor of meat products, with over $10 billion in annual revenue and 21,000 people globally.
Prior to joining Swift, Adnan worked with Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Inc., a Dallas, TX based private equity firm. At Hicks Muse, he was part of the team that focused on managing the firm’s multi-billion dollar consumer and media investment portfolio. Before joining Hicks Muse, he worked in investment banking in the Financial Sponsors Group at Citigroup.
Adnan recently worked as an advisor for Aman Biradari and the Dil Se Campaign in New Delhi, India, where he helped develop scalable operating models for youth development-focused non-profit organizations. Adnan is also actively involved with the Salesforce.com Foundation, which uses Salesforce.com’s people, technology and relationships to improve its communities by leveraging a unique 1/1/1 model: 1% Time, 1% Equity and 1% Product.
Adnan was born in rural Pakistan and immigrated with his family to the United States when he was nine years old. He is an American national, fluent in English and Punjabi, and conversant in Urdu and Hindi. Adnan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Utah where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Finance. He received his Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
