DOING DEVELOPMENT IN…PERU

I-DEV offers a 10-day alternative vacation for graduate students and professionals interested to learn about the unique challenges associated with doing business and economic development at the base of the pyramid. Participants live with host families in Northern Peru, as well as meet with CSR and international development staff in the Country’s capital and regional capital to gain the full 360 degree perspective on the developing world.
CHEFS CORPS

Chefs Corps is has been recognized as a cutting-edge global nutrition program that brings professionally-trained chefs and nutritionists on two week missions to train groups of women how to prepare more nutritious meals for their families. Women cook alongside these chefs, learning to create meals with a balanced nutritional profile using improved sanitary practices to reduce food-borne illness. And, finally, Chefs Corps is partnering with clean cookstoves initiatives to educate women on the benefits of clean indoor air quality that reduced respiratory illness. This unique CSR and development program will also create new business opportunities for women in poor communities around the world.
